Partner and lead instructor, Helen is a paramedic who has over 25 years experience in a front line emergency role. She holds a Cert Ed and a BA (Hons) in Training and Education Studies and is a mentor for student paramedics and has years of experience managing student paramedics. She currently works as a operational team leader for the ambulance service which involves managing a team of clinicians and providing operational and tactical command functions for major incidents. Helen has a keen interest in improving outcomes in cardiac arrest by focusing on the basics.
Partner and lead instructor, Steve is a paramedic who has over 17 years experience in a front line emergency role. He holds a DipHE in specialist healthcare practice and is working towards a Msc in Advanced Practice. He currently works as a specialist paramedic for the ambulance service, GP surgery and emergency department and clinical education lead. He is also a mentor for student paramedics and is a guest lecturer at the University of Brighton.
Andy is a paramedic who has over 10 years experience in a front line emergency role. He holds a FdSc in Paramedic Science and a Level 3 Award in Education and Training. Andy has experience of writing and leading both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and facilitating leadership programmes with major companies. He also is a guest lecturer for the University of Chichester. He currently works as a paramedic for the ambulance service and is also a mentor for student paramedics.
